Michael
has allways been keen in audio production
and mixing. Two years previous he purchased
two vynal mixing desks and a KAM BMP mixer
to learn on. Though self-teaching and practice
he has developed quite a skill. His preferred
music taste has allways been towards dance,
and particualar melodic harmony based dance
such as trance and progressive breaks.
Below
will feature some of the works i have done
eventually, but for now below showcases
some of my favoure mixes from from artists
around the world!
Disclaimer:
The mixes below are by other artists, and
not by myself, they are freely and legaly
available on the websites by the artitsts.
I am in no way trying to claim these as
my own, I have put them up here purely so
i can share this awsome music with the rest
of the world.
Note:
To find a full track listing and where you

This
was one of the first mixes i ever downloaded
and i believe is still one of the best.
It is an emotional journey filled with
stunning tracks and awsome mixing. Listen
to this if you want to chill-out or
do some work, or just lie back and relax!
This
is one of the first sets i ever downloaded
off proton radio and is certainly still
one of my favourites. I cant put my
finger on why the sounds in this mix
work as it sounds like it shouldnt.
Give it a listen and let me know what
you think!
This
is another awsome mix from proton radio,
it may be only a showcase for the reccent
releases on EDMDigital but it has some
stunning tracks in it. Loving that first
track ;)
This
is a reccently downloaded mix i found
on a website and instantly fell in love
with it, it has some of my favourite
tracks i have heard on other mixes but
all rolled into one. Perfect mix to
play very loud while playing games ;)
This
is one of my favourite mixes by James.
His mixes remind me of Jason Dunne using
well-placed samples, you could swear
that they belong in the song. His mixes
also have a nice flow to them, taking
you on a journey, also simmilar to JD
sets. Enjoy!
This
set and the set below by Salim B are
stunning bits of work. They are a perfect
example of how track selection is so
important in a mix. Each track flows
so smoothly into one-another you could
swear the whole set is just one long
track. Download these both and sitback
and enjoy!
Im
only going to put a coupple of DJ Predictionz
sets up but pretty much all of his sets
are awsome to listen to. His style is
very cool, reminicent of DJ River. If
you like these then click his name and
follow the link to his site and download
the rest!
When
i first listened to this set and one
one below i wasnt all that impressed
but as i listened the second and third
time i slowly stared to fall in love.
The sounds featured in both these two
mixes have me bounin away in my seat
on the train, bringing some odd looks
from the other passengers. Pay special
attention to the Bjork - Hyperballad
(Nick Galea mix) and the two tracks
by Noel Armstrong. Absolutely awsome
mix, a must lisen!
I
actually listened to this mix before
the second one and wasnt all that impressed
as i mentioned above, the only thing
that made me re-listen was the track
by Imogen Heap (aka frou frou), an abosultely
stunning track with an incredible remix!
But listening again i find as the mix
above, this one just grows and grows
on you. Incredible stuff, again a MUST
listen!
I
discovered aaron simpson a while ago
on my travels and realy loved his style
of drum and bass. This is one of my
personal favourite however there are
many more mixes to be downloaded on
his site.
rEvolve
is one of those sets you can put on
and listen and before you know it, its
at the end of the mix and you wonder
where the time went. It's simply a fantasic
peice of work and a must listen for
anyone into progressive breaks.
This
is a different one from james and i
personally love it. Its a break from
his usual breakbeat style of progressive
dance. This one takes a more 4/4 rythm
and has and awsome feel to it. It was
originally created for Lunar
Entertainment so if you like this
go check out the site :)
This
phenominal mix starts with a techy/glitchy
style such as Jay
Epoch's Glitch in the System 3.0
but then follows with an awsome progressive
sound that i personally cant get enough
of. Most definately worth a listen!
This
is one of my favourite albums of all
time and infact came free on the cover
of mixmag
a very long time ago. Despite that i
think think this album never got the
praise it desereved and hence the niche
genre never flourished as it should
of!
